It all started as a part of our P.E. activity about sports. At first, my mom won’t allow me to join in the school’s taekwondo team because she said that I was just wasting my time in hurting myself. On the other hand, my dad was not against my decision because he is the one who persuaded my mom for her to allow me which, I find surprising because he supported me for what I want. He reasoned that taekwondo will be helpful to me because I can use this as a self-defense against bad people and a way to boost my self-confidence by trusting myself.
