         <description><![CDATA[<div>For younger students, I'm guessing that the problems would be simpler and that the length of the project would be shorter?<br><strong><br>We will share primary examples soon! -Nancy<br><br>Project length may not be shorter, but frequency of work might be.&nbsp; Some of the primary projects that I have seen have been semester or year long projects, but they only have project time scheduled once each week.&nbsp; Additionally, the real-world that kids are exposed to is different for each age group so it is totally acceptable to have different types of problems for kids of different age groups. - Matt</strong></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>How are roles established?<br><br><strong>Roles can be established in two ways:<br>1.&nbsp; A set of roles that apply to all projects, but have limited impact on the final product (recorder, reader, etc.)<br>2. The roles can be dictated by the specific needs of the final product. This would change from unit to unit, but does give the student more specific responsibilities.&nbsp; -Matt</strong></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>How do you handle classroom management issues such as certain group members not meeting group's goals? <br><br><strong>There will always be some full class instruction, but working with individual groups, using student conferences, and frequent check-ins with students on their progress eliminates a lot of the "slacker" problems.&nbsp; There will always be someone that requires us to dig into our tried and true bag of tricks (calling home, or in the most extreme cases, pulling them from the group).&nbsp; - Matt</strong></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>How do you get parents to buy in when you are not using the textbooks that they are paying for, as well as doing less of the traditional prep for standardized testing?<br><br><strong>Standards and Essential Learnings are still being covered. Students can use the textbooks as resources. Textbooks shouldn't drive your curriculum - Essential Learnings do. If students understand them through the project, they will have a more in-depth understanding when asked on standardized testing. -Nancy</strong></div>]]></description>
