Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa – The President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities and Chairperson of the Board of the Arab Regional Centre for World Heritage. Sh. Mai Al-Khalifa was the first woman to be appointed as the Minister of Information in Bahrain in 2009. In 2014, she was ranked the sixth in Forbes’ Middle East list of the Most Powerful Arab Women. She has founded the Sheikh Ebrahim bin Mohammed Al Khalifa for Culture and Research, a non-profit organization, where she hosts a number of Arab intellectuals, writers, musicians and poets throughout the year. She has also renovated most of the renowned old houses in Bahrain, where she transformed them into cultural centers. In 2015, Shaikha Mai was awarded the Watch Award at the World Monument’s Fund’s 50th Anniversary in recognition of her role at preserving the monuments and historical heritage of Bahrain. She was also made the Special Ambassador of the International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development by the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) in 2017.

Since then, Aisha Jewels has become one of the fastest growing jewelry brands in the region showcasing its unique designs in internationally recognized venues in Bahrain, Sharjah, and Dubai. While attempting to manage the ever-growing challenges of a startup together with a demanding university life is a formidable task, Aisha managed to compete with the best in the market gaining herself and her company many recognition awards. Aisha Jewels was awarded the Most Distinguished Business in Bahrain as part of the GCC’s first youth entrepreneurs council held in Bahrain in 2016 and won the Bahrain title of the best Student Run Company in the Global Student Entrepreneur Award competition in March 2017. In November 2017, Aisha was honored by HRH the Crown Prince of Bahrain in naming Aisha Jewels Co. the Micro Business of the year. Aisha is currently in her final year at the Royal University for Woman majoring in Fashion Design.          <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Shaikha Al Shaiba is a 37 year Bahraini athlete and  the head of HR Transformation at Bahrain Petroleum Company . She is a modern, fun-loving heroine who always seeks challenge, work and adventure, with a smile that does not leave her lips, she says : do what pleases you, take risks, and do not hesitate to be yourself as you are . </strong></div><div><strong>Shaikha Al Shaiba’s right arm got amputated when she was only 18 months old. Her growing up years weren’t easy as she had to deal not only with her physical conditions, but also had to face unreasonable rejection and taunts from childhood until adulthood ,but with her will, determination, persistence and challenge she faced all obstacles and her handicap was a positive inspiration for her towards excellence, success and competition in various international forums. Since her childhood, she loves sports, especially swimming and running, where she received the attention of a swimming coach at the school when she was seven years old through her training and her inclusion in school competitions.</strong></div><div><strong>She was called the stubborn iron woman, but in a positive sense, armed with a will to vanquish the impossible, she loves swimming and jogging .Of course, one-arm sports astonishes the world and achieves the impossible, dazzles the viewer and the follower, and is the talk of the masses.</strong></div><div><strong>Sheikha participated in various Olympiads in Bahrain and Kuwait , She  participated in world championships such as Iron Man in 2017 in Bahrain, which came with the support of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and the race distance was 1.9 km swimming, 90 km bike and 21 km running and she was able to complete the race. In April 2016 Al Shaiba’s friend encouraged her to join their team in participating in the Spartan Race Bahrain. Contestants had to run, climb and crawl through nets over an intense 15 kilometre-plus course with more than 25 obstacles.</strong></div><div><strong>She also participated in the challenge of climbing (Jabal Shams ) in Oman and was 11th over 70 contestants .</strong></div><div><strong>She was honored from the "People of Determination" initiative as a result of her outstanding achievement in overcoming disability, She traveled 1.9 km swimming, 95 km by bike and 21 km running with one arm. Also , she was honored by His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa for competing in the Iron Man Championship for the Middle East ,she was the  talk of media channels, such as the program (Sada Almala'eb)  on MBC channel, Bahrain TV, and many interested websites, press and media.</strong></div><div><strong>About her dream, Sheikha Al Shaibs says: “My dream and my family’s dream is to be an icon that is referred to, and a symbol that my family and all Bahrain and Arabs are proud of. My dream is not the limited one that I seek to achieve and prove to people who see that sheikha cannot be the world champion of the Iron Man with one hand.”<br></strong><br></div>]]></description>

She is the first wife of  king Hamad   ,She is the head of the Supreme Council for Women in Bahrain,that has encouraged the expansion of women's rights in Bahrain,<br><br>. She is an active advocate for the preservation of the historic Bahraini architecture which represents great national value. In the year 2001 , she encouraged  women to vote in the elections . In June 2005 , she hosted the first ladies of the Arab world in Bahrain for the second meeting of the Higher Council of Arab Women Organization . Between 2005 and 2007 , she headed the Arab Women's Organization . She is also the chief patron of the Society for Women and Children in Bahrain and has addressed the United Nations General Assembly on topics such as Children – future action and Children – programme implementation .   Also in December 2008  , she has got Order of Sheikh Isa ibn Salman Al Khalifa First Class . <br><br></div><div> <br><br></div><div>                    All in all , she is known for her artistic talent as it is evident in her unique artwork . <br><br></div>]]></description>

She is the first Bahraini women to be registered in Bahrain courts , and she is one of the 100 most powerful women.                                                                                                                                  She was a member of the Supreme National Committee for the Preparation of the National Action Charter for the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Charter Activation Committee . She is currently the Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Women in the Kingdom of Bahrain with the rank of Minister and she is the first woman appointed with this degree in the Arab Gulf states.   Al-Awadi added that this program will enable women to fulfill their role in public life, to be able to compete freely in an atmosphere of democratic elections. <br><br></div><div>Lulwa always looking for the next great thing to achieve , and has never given up in the face of big challenges .  Her achievements have earned the admiration of a wide audience in Bahrain .          <description><![CDATA[<div>Reem Al Mealla<strong> </strong>is a nature lover by default, a biodiversity conservation &amp; marine specialist by profession, a climate advocate by concern and the brain behind bnature  Bahrain’s first environmental online platform. Reem is a recipient of the M.E.I. (Motivational, Empowering, Inspirational Woman) Award from the University of Essex and has been involved in the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) processes for the past couple of years.  On a local level, Reem is a co-founder of the Arab Youth Climate Movement (AYCM) and has served as the AYCM-Bahrain co-ordinator for two years since 2012 before handing it to other young people to take it forward. Since then, she has been working on training Bahraini youth on climate issues and has been working on influencing national climate policies through her advocacy work. In addition, she served as the Project Manager for the Bahrain National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan and as the Biodiversity co-ordinator for the Arab World for the Global Environment Outlook Report led by UNEP.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br><strong><mark>Huda Janahi  is one of the most famous woman in Bahrain .She was born in Muharraq.  She had an ordinary childhood like most children in her town .She got married .She has got two children.<br><br><br>She learned about Commerce. After she finished studying , She dedicated a lot of time to raise awareness of commercial issues. She believes that everyone can make difference through dedication and working hard .<br>Inspired by motivation and the desire to be successful, Within a few years, Janahi built up her company into a huge successful enterprise and, in 2008, she signed a merger worth US$3m with the Kuwaiti cargo company, Global Logistic Company, which serves the whole Middle East region. Currently she owns 8 businesses in services, retail, media and manufacturing employing 85 staff and her net worth is estimated at $25 million USD. <br></mark></strong><mark><br><br></mark><strong><mark>For the first year, all progress was blocked because her application for a commercial registration was rejected by the Ministry of Commerce. She was told that women could not receive a commercial registration to operate in the cargo industry. Undaunted, Janahi refused to accept no for an answer and she joined the UNIDO AICEI Enterprise Development &amp; Investment Promotion program in Bahrain. In 2001, after graduating from the UNIDO entrepreneurship development programme, she applied again for registration and, with UNIDO’s support, her application was finally accepted.</mark></strong><mark><br><br><br><br></mark><strong><mark>Today, Janahi is an award-winning businesswoman, one of the most influential women in the Arab world according to Forbes magazine, and is hailed as a role model for budding female entrepreneurs across the Persian Gulf region. Huda Janahi   is always looking for the next great thing to achieve ,and has never given up in the face of big challenges  . Mrs. Janahi, was invited by UNIOD as a speaker in the 5th Ministerial Conference of the Least Developed Countries in the Session “Converting commodities into products: the role of women in LDCs”; held in Lima, Peru from 30 November – 1 December 2013.<br>Most recently in May 2015; she was one of three Bahraini Women Entrepreneurs to receive the Indira Gandhi “Priyadarshani Award 2015"; for her contribution to women economic empowerment.<br></mark></strong><br></div>]]></description>

She is pioneering  lawyer and diplomat from Bahrain  She is the great-granddaughter of Isa ibn Ali Al Khalifa, who ruled Bahrain from 1869 to 1932. The present head of the family, King Hamad ibn Isa Al Khalifa, is the great-great-grandson of Isa ibn Ali.  She is one of the first women to practice law in Bahrain, and the third ever woman to preside at the UN General Assembly. She become the first female ambassador in 1999-2004 when she was sent to France .<br><br></div><div>She obtained a law degree from the University of Kuwait in 1974 and pursued her studies at the University of Alexandria and the University of Ain Shams in Cairo. She was one of the first two women in Bahrain to practice law when she was admitted as a lawyer in 1979. A champion of women’s rights in Islamic courts, Princess Haya later set up her own practice, the Haya Rashed Al Khalifa Law Firm. From 1997 to 1999, she was the vice chairwoman of the International Bar Association. She is also the legal advisor to Bahrain's royal court.<br><br></div><div>Sheikha Haya is currently a member of the World Intellectual Property Organization Arbitration Committee and a member of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) International Court of Arbitration. Simple, daily actions. Inspired by this adventure, Amal went on to climb Kilimanjaro in 2014, then crossed the Arctic Circle in 2015. She had to fundraise for months before both trips, but the experiences were worth it.  Her adventures have proved that with sufficient determination, young Bahrainis, and Bahraini women, can achieve impressive things. Amal undertook these expeditions while attending university and studying for a Bachelor in International Logistics Management, balancing study and outside interests.  Her achievements have earned the admiration of a wide audience in Bahrain, and she hopes that they will inspire people to go on adventures themselves, or at least to lead a greener, more sustainable life.</div>]]></description>

In November 2008, she was appointed Minister of Culture and Information, becoming the first Minister of Information and Culture in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.  On July 8, 2010, she was appointed Minister of Culture, after separating the media from culture.  In December 2014, she left the new ministerial formation.  On February 2, 2015, she was appointed President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities.<br><br><br>  She developed the culture sector through her project, Investment in Culture, and opened a partnership between the culture sector and financial and banking institutions.  She chaired the Board of Directors of the Arab Regional Center for World Heritage and the Supreme Council for Tourism in the Kingdom of Bahrain.  She founded and managed a group of cultural centers and a variety of artistic houses, including: The Sheikh Ibrahim Center for Culture and Research and the Abdullah Al-Mazyad House for Bahrain's Press Heritage.  She was chosen as the Chair of the 35th session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee.  She won the Gulf Media Personality title for the year 2010.<br>  Forbes magazine chose her among the 50 most powerful Arab personalities.<br><br><br><br>  She won many local, Arab and international honors and awards, including:<br>  The French National Medal of Honor with a knight degree.  1st Colbert Foundation Prize for Creativity and Heritage.  Distinguished Arab Woman Award in Administrative Leadership from the Center for Women Studies, Paris, France International Tourism Award in the field of creativity for the year 2013.</div>]]></description>

Amal Al-Saffar is a Bahraini adventurer. By the time she was 20 years in 2013, she had become the first Bahraini woman to visit the Antarctic.



During that trip, Amal learned a lot about the Antarctic environment and the challenging it faces. After her return to Bahrain, she decided to raise awareness of these issues through talks and interviews Amal believes, that everyone can make a difference , So doing simple daily actions like Using less electricity or refusing to use plastic bags.

 

Inspired by this adventure, Amal went on to climb Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain  in Africa in 2014. Then she crossed the Arctic Circle in 2015. On her Arctic expedition, her group saw walruses, polar pears and a blue whale. Her adventures have proved that young Bahraini women can achieve impressive things.
             


Amal is always looking for the next big challenge and has never given up in the face of any obstacles, Her achievements have earned the admiration of a wider audience in Bahrain. She also hopes that they will inspire people to go on adventures themselves. She  is truly a good example to be followed.

I, she encouraged  women to vote in the elections . In June 2005 , she hosted the first ladies of the Arab world in Bahrain for the second meeting of the Higher Council of Arab Women Organization . Between 2005 and 2007 , she headed the Arab Women&#39;s Organization . She is also the chief patron of the Society for Women and Children in Bahrain and has addressed the United Nations General Assembly on topics such as Children – future action and Children – programme implementation .   Also in December 2008  , she has got Order of Sheikh Isa ibn Salman Al Khalifa First Class .                      All in all , she is known for her artistic talent as it is evident in her unique artwork .  </title>

She is a modern, fun-loving heroine who always seeks challenge, work and adventure, with a smile that does not leave her lips, she says : do what pleases you, take risks, and do not hesitate to be yourself as you are .                    Shaikha Al Shaiba’s right arm got amputated when she was only 18 months old. Her growing up years weren’t easy as she had to deal not only with her physical conditions, but also had to face unreasonable rejection and taunts from childhood until adulthood ,but with her will, determination, persistence and challenge she faced all obstacles and her handicap was a positive inspiration for her towards excellence, success and competition in various international forums. Since her childhood, she loves sports, especially swimming and running, where she received the attention of a swimming coach at the school when she was seven years old through her training and her inclusion in school competitions.Sheikha participated in various Olympiads in Bahrain and Kuwait , She  participated in world championships such as Iron Man in 2017 in Bahrain, which came with the support of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and the race distance was 1.9 km swimming, 90 km bike and 21 km running and she was able to complete the race. In April 2016 Al Shaiba’s friend encouraged her to join their team in participating in the Spartan Race Bahrain. Contestants had to run, climb and crawl through nets over an intense 15 kilometre-plus course with more than 25 obstacles.Also , she was honored by His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa for competing in the Iron Man Championship for the Middle East ,she was the  talk of media channels, such as the program (Sada Almala&#39;eb)  on MBC channel, Bahrain TV, and many interested websites, press and media.About her dream, Sheikha Al Shaibs says: “My dream and my family’s dream is to be an icon that is referred to, and a symbol that my family and all Bahrain and Arabs are proud of. My dream is not the limited one that I seek to achieve and prove to people who see that sheikha cannot be the world champion of the Iron Man with one hand.”   </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Malak mohammed <br>3sci4<br><br>Mona Jassm Mohammed Al-Kuwari is a Bahraini judge, academic and author.  She is currently a member of the Constitutional Court in Bahrain.  She is considered the first Bahraini and Gulf woman to sit on the platform as chair of a court consisting of three judges and a secretary.<br><br></div><div><br></div><div>She studied at the college of Law at the University of Beirut and obtained a BA in law in 2000, a postgraduate diploma in public law in 2005, and a master’s degree in criminal law for the thesis “Inspection, its conditions and cases of invalidity, a comparative study” in 2007, and a doctorate in criminal law for the thesis  that  Prepared on the “crime of electronic fraud, a comparative study” in 2013.<br><br></div><div><br><br></div><div>She started her career as a professor at the University of Bahrain.<br><br></div><div><br></div><div> She joined the work of Public Prosecutor from 2003 to 2006.<br><br></div><div><br></div><div> In June 2006, the King of Bahrain, Hamad bin Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, issued an order appointing her as a judge in the Juvenile Court, to be the first Bahraini and Gulf woman to assume the position of judges. She continued in her position until 2010. She was appointed as an attorney at the High Civil Court from 2011 to 2012. She was appointed as an attorney at the High Civil Court.  The Grand Appellate Court in 2012. Appointed the President of the Supreme Civil Administrative Court in 2013. Appointed the President of the High Labor Court from 2013 to 2014. Appointed a judge at the High Civil Court of Appeal from 2014 to 2016 to become the first Bahraini and Gulf Arab woman to sit on the bench as head of a court composed of three judges and a secretary.<br><br></div><div><br></div><div> On April 25, 2016, the King of Bahrain issued Royal Decree No. 19 of 2016 stipulating the appointment of Al-Kuwari as a member of the Constitutional Court, whose term of office will be five years.<br><br></div><div><br></div><div>Mona participated in many conferences and seminars and in many memberships and committees<br><br></div><div><br></div><div>In 2016, Al-Kuwari was honored in the category of the first female holders of judicial positions and decision-making positions at the local and international levels by the Supreme Council for Women.<br><br></div><div><br></div><div> On March 18, 2019, the Dania Sisters Council for Community Development honored her among a number of pioneering figures in the Arab world<br><br></div><div><br></div>]]></description>

This competition supported the students to make their business. This competition inspired her to start in the jewelry field. Her father helped her with material and moral support. <br><br></div><div>       Aisha created her jewelry brand and it succeeds very fast. She has got greater than 60 thousand followers on Instagram. She won first place in the micro-projects. Sheikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, crown prince of Bahrain, presented the award himself. won the Bahrain title of the best Student-Run Company in the Global Student Entrepreneur Award competition. Showcasing its unique designs in internationally recognized venues in Bahrain, Sharjah, and Dubai. Aisha Jewels were awarded the Most Distinguished Business in Bahrain as part of the GCC’s first youth entrepreneurs council held in Bahrain.<br><br></div><div>          Aisha faced challenges such as trying to balance her university life and her business. But she managed to skip all these problems. <br><br></div><div>          Aisha has got a lot of ambitions. She is set to open the first studio and Atelier to design jewelry in Bahrain. There are a lot of options and activities in the studio.<br><br></div>]]></description>
