I generally view the news on TV. However, I never listen to the news on a single channel. There is always a side and it does not give confidence. I have social media accounts on Facebook and Twitter. Every day I check news from different pages. I don't trust to much in social media's. But I think that we must have them because information are today very important. On social medias I always check and try to get information only from trusted news pages. I use some websites and forums for news, because most of the news are not reliable. I seen a lot of false or misleading news in the last week. Here are some examples: First: I don't believe in news that I read about numbers of sick people of COVID-19. Numbers are not correct and I am sure of it. Second: Price actions for products. You find in their adverts one price and then on social media another price. Many offers are fake. I think it is hard and difficult to separate fake news from the truth in medias and social pages.

I usually follow the news on twitter. I try to read the comments below each news. Comments usually give a clear idea if that news is fake or real. I see fake news especially on faceboook.

I have been more into the subject of media literacy and disinformation thanks to etwinning platforms and these LLs. So started to make more detailed researches into the topic and came across the phrase''infodemi'' during this pandemic process. It is stated as the next pandemic after covid 19 that effects the physchology of people after reading so many fake, disinformative , and misleading news. I consider this phrase covers many aspects that we have been concerning about for long. we need to go further and accomplish our mission of detecting fake news by already being good at researching and being bookworms . Thank you.

I don't trust all I see or read in social media platforms. There was an advertisement for kitchen cleaners on Facebook last week. There were only good comments about it. A friend of mine told me that she used their goods but it didn't work for cleaning. When she tried to add her comment to their page on Facebook, the page deleted her comment. They can easily convince people with visuals and good comments.

I trust the most news channels I follow. But sometimes I am careful with loud, attention grabbing titles and etc. I don't consider social media like Instagram, Facebook as news. These are often ones personal thoughts, ideas or fear based shared posts. You have to check the original source of information.
