The purpose of this unit is to get the children of Chile interested in reading, which is, currently, a big problem in our society. This unit will try to show to children don't see reading as an obligation, it wants them to see it's like a hobby and a entertaining activity, where they can learn, but how are we going to do this? we are going to make some short audiobooks to show that reading is not boring, that you can learn from it and have fun in the process.

1. How am I progressing in my learning process?

I think I'm making good progress in reading and analyzing microstory. How does this evidence show my progress in this unit?

I think it shows based on how I complete this activity. In this activity I learned a to analyze micro-stories, which I think I did not know before and I think it is reflected later in the other activities.

3. How did I verify that the information I gathered is reliable and useful?

First, checking that it is a reliable page, whether it is current, original information, has good spelling, cite your sources of information. Then comparing between several pages, at least 3, to verify that it is real and reliable. Also to know if it is useful it is necessary to verify if the investigated is according to the topic for the investigation. Finally see if the page ends in (.ORG) which that means is from a organization, (.GOV) which means it is from the government or (.EDU) which means it is for educational purposes, because if it ends in (.COM) it maybe not be 100% reliable. In this activity I try to get only information with pages ending in (.ORG) and check the information with more than 2 pages to see if it was reliable. as for example occupy this page to get information: https://www.themorgan.org/collection/oscar-wilde/manuscripts-letters/25#:~:text=The%20Autumn%20gave%20golden%20fruit,danced%20about%20through%20the%20trees

4. How does this evidence help me to solve the problem of the unit?

I believe that this evidence will help me when I write my micro-story i will be able to analyze the themes well, for example when we had to analyze the themes of "The Selfish Giant", and see where my microstory fails and how to solve it. This evidence made me think that I have to have interesting themes to make my microstory attractive, so that they can read and enjoy it.

5. What difficulties have I encountered while doing this activity?

I think the most difficult part of this activity was analyzing the themes of the micro-story and extracting the stylistic devices from the micro-story. I think it was difficult, since it was the first time I did it, the good thing is that later I learned how to do it. It was difficult but not impossible.

6. What have I learnt of myself?

What I learned the most about myself in this activity was learning to do a good and deep analysis of the themes of micro-stories, and how important they are at the time of writing one.

1. How am I progressing in my learning process?

I think I am going forward quite well in this area. Reflecting I feel that I have learned quickly because now it is something, more or less, easy. I feel like this work was fun and interesting, and that makes me think I'm progressing well. I also think that I have progressed comparing how easy it was for me to do the first activity we had of analyzing short stories compared to this last activity. It was much easier for me to understand and do this evidence compared to the first activity.

2. How does this evidence show my progress in this unit?

I think it shows based on how I complete this activity. In this activity I learned to read a text, involving a analysis of the text, detailing its meaning and form. To do a linguistic and stylistic exploration of the text and learn how a text achieves its effects on a reader or listener. I think it is reflected later in the rest of the activities.

In this activity I try to get only information with pages ending in (.EDU) As for example occupy this page to get information:
https://etc.usf.edu/lit2go/147/the-works-of-edgar-allan-poe/5235/the-black-cat/
But i also need to use pages ending in (.COM)
However, I corroborated the information with 3 different pages. For example: https://www.gradesaver.com/the-black-cat/study-guide/literary-elements

4. How does this evidence help me to solve the problem of the unit?

I think this evidence will help me when I write my micro-story because I will be able to write my micro-story super well, for example when we had to see the moods and tones of the Black Cat. This evidence made me think that I have to have everything very planned, either, the moods, the context, the keywords, so that my microhistory is attractive, so that they can read and enjoy it.

5. What difficulties have I encountered while doing this activity?

I think the hardest part of this evidence was almost everything. For the activity to be understandable you had to do everything right, either by analyzing the paragraphs or choosing the keywords. I think it was the most difficult activity, since there were many things to do.

6. What have I learnt of myself?

What I learned the most from myself in this activity was learning to do a good and deep analysis of a text. I also learned that if I propose something I can do it without any problem, as with this activity and how important it is to commit and do everything well when doing one.

1. How am I progressing in my learning process?

I think I am progressing quite well in this learning Progress. thinking I feel that I have learned quickly, especially in analyzing and reading texts. I feel that this work was easy, and that makes me think that I am progressing well. I also think that I have progressed because this activity was much easier for me than the previous ones and that makes me think that I am on the right way.

2. How does this evidence show my progress in this unit?

I think it shows based on how I complete this evidence. In this activity I learned how to make an outline of a text. Also now I realize that I can make a theme, a conflict and a point of view of the story, thanks to the other activities and now I also know what exposition is, rising action, falling action and how to implement it in a text.

3. How did I verify that the information I gathered is reliable and useful?

In this activity you do not need to search for anything on the internet, since the text comes out of your head, out of your imagination. But I know that I have the necessary information to carry out this activity due to the learning in class and in the previous works.

4. How does this evidence help me to solve the problem of the unit?

I think this evidence will help me when I write my micro-story, because I will be able to write my micro-story super well, for example when we had to see the moods and tones of the Black Cat. What difficulties have I encountered while doing this activity?

If I'm honest, I think that none of this activity was difficult for me, I think the most "difficult" thing was creating the theme and the point of view of the story, but it was also easy for me due to the previous work.

6. What have I learnt of myself?

What I learned the most about myself in this activity was to learn from the other activities.
Final Reflection 1.- What concepts or ideas have I learnt? How do they help me answer the question of the unit?

Some concepts and ideas that I learned during this unit were: Stylistic devices, which were used to write and make sense of our story, to give the story continuity and sense. Using imagery, which served to represent, with a figurative language and using the stylistic devices, objects, actions and any ideas to give more emotion and depth to the story. I also learned the concept Plot Diagram, which serves to show how a story is organized, showing the 5 most important parts of it. Also the concepts of Theme and Topic, which are used to explain what the writing is about, either, in a specific opinion or to
denote a subject. Text commentary, which helped us to analyze the different stylistic features, plot, characters, and the other short stories characteristics. I think that all the concepts and ideas that I learned helped in their way to answer the question of the unit, for example, thanks to the stylistic devices, you know how to make sense of it and write a story, thanks to the plot diagram, you know how to organize the story, in order to later write it using imagery, and finally thanks to the text commentary we can analyze and criticize our story and see where it fails and what can be improved. In summary, all the concepts, in some other way, serve to be able to write and answer the question of the unit.

Final Reflection 3.- Taking into consideration that I have written a Short Story, do I think the average Chilean student would enjoy reading my story? Why or Why not?

I, honestly, think that yes. I guess it still depends on the type of reader, if you like romance stories, I don't think you will be very interested in our story, but despite that, I think the average person may like it. I feel that our story is original and fun, I think that the stories that make us read in Chile are very different from this one, in the sense that our story is much more captivating, it has comedy, it has an unexpected plot twist, but Above of that things, our story it's written by a gropu of teenager. I feel that many stories that make us read in the school, lack that, that its not written by young people, that they can understand our interests at the time of reading a story. I think that can affect the story a lot, its very different from someone If you are 60 years old writing a story to someone that have 20 years old, the language, the perspective and the base of the story will change a lot. That is why I think that our story can be of interest, for its drama, its plot twist, its humor, but above all because it is written by children of the 21st century.
