         <description><![CDATA[<div>The dictionary definition of the holocaust was the "destruction or slaughter on a mass scale, especially caused by fire or nuclear war".  The Holocaust started in January of 1933 when the Nazis officially rose to power. Their belief was that Germans were "racially superior" and that Jewish people were "inferior" and an "alien threat" . </div>]]></description>

         <title>The Final Solution</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Final Solution was the Nazis plan to exterminate the Jewish people. Through various stages this plan was put into place. At first there were boycotts and anti-Jewish legislation but later as their plan continued on the "Night of the Broken Glass" occured. Many businesses were trashed and "inappropriate" books and Mosques were burned. Later the Nazis set up ghettos and later harsher camps like Auschwitz.  The people of the Nazi party were gas, shoot, and starve the "undesirables" and they eventually killed about 6 million Jews.  </div>]]></description>

The judges during these trails were from the Allied Powers ( Great Britain, France, Soviet Union, and the U.S). They tried 22 major Nazi criminals and 12 of them were sentenced to death. </div>]]></description>
