Circumnavigate- it advanced idea of sailing  and changed social advancements because they were able to sail around the world .<br>  3.  Korea- isolated themselves from all trade and didn't socialize with people trying to convert religion. <br>Political:<br> 1.Dutch east India company- they took over all trade and used it as power to control others<br> 2.Sovereign power- D.E.I.C got this power and it let them control and make decisions political figures could make and let them over ride kings and the pope.<br>3. Affonso 1- because he took power to try and stop slave trade and influence people to do the same.<br>Economic:<br>1. Treaty of tordesillas- it lead to trade and negotiation of money and land and was a major separation between Spain and Portugal.<br>  2. Moluccas island- because it made profit and trade opportunities for many.<br>3. Slave trade- made money for tribes and gave more power to Portugal .  <br>    </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Economic- &nbsp;<br><br>1). Europeans started to trade and looking for new lands for territory as well. Many explorers tried to go against the odds but very few made it.&nbsp;<br><br>2). Vasco da Gama followed in Dias's footsteps. Vasco wanted to travel around the world or make the exploration much greater. After a ten month voyage he lost half of his ships.&nbsp;<br><br>3). The main motivation for sailing the dangerous seas, was the wealth. They wanted to travel to the spice islands and other parts of Asia.&nbsp;<br><br>Political-&nbsp;<br><br>1).&nbsp; Other countries wanted to gain more power and wealth as well which that caused a lot of problems with searching for more lands for territory.&nbsp;<br><br>2). The Portuguese and Spain were having trouble with trading and looking for new lands. So they asked the Pope for help.&nbsp;<br><br>3).
