Some of their actions people weren't aware of, but for other actions they knew about, they just didn't care as much. The one group, Saints, were less targeted because they were well-manned, well-dressed, and had nice cars. The Roughnecks were more targeted because they were of a lower status.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Having access to power and wealth gave the Saints the advantage of being able to go undetected in their crimes since people did not think of them as the "type" of people to commit crimes like that.&nbsp;They didn't face many consequences because their families probably had pretty high status in their community, so law enforcement wouldn't want to upset their families by arresting them or pressing charges. There's a bias that people who have things don't do the same things that people who don't have things do. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>You can see the stigma difference even in the way this piece is written-- when describing the saints, they make note that these pranks are often not serious, the boys are usually well-mannered and had nice cars. Then while talking about roughnecks they stick harsh and unfair labels onto them because of their background/income. This could turn into a self-fulfilling prophecy or feed into confirmation bias.</div>]]></description>

The Roughnecks on the other hand don't have such luxuries meaning they are subjected to harsher punishment and stigmas, and when do commit deviant acts its for monetary gain rather than entertainment.  </div>]]></description>

And so for the Roughnecks because the way they look is less appealing they are labeled as the only group heading for trouble and crime.</div>]]></description>

If they were caught in being involved with something then it would just be seen as a "misunderstanding." <em>Because anyone who is well dressed or well mannered has no connection to delinquency.&nbsp;</em></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>That the Saints are good boys who go for occasional prank every now and then, which makes them more confident and willing to even mess with the police and show themselves to their victims as they are aware they most likely won't be punished. While the Roughnecks are delinquents who commit crimes and are their way to organized crime or prison, they are much more stealthy with crimes(excluding fighting), and avoid confrontation with police as they will most likely be arrested.</div>]]></description>

If they looked dirty then that meant they were guilty and should receive the harshest punishment. Regardless of how small the crime is.          <description><![CDATA[<div>The Saints were seen as good boys, with a good future ahead of them, making it harder to see fault with them, and even they did they didn't want jeopardize the futures of such good boys over "pranks". The Roughnecks were bad boys with only crime and metal bars in their futures, so no one bother to give any second chances or look the other way as delinquents such them. </div>]]></description>
