the main idea of wonder is this little boy that has a facial l defect he gets bullied and then at the end everything turns out great and everyone thinks hes pretty cool  

in the book auggie takes a tour around beecher prep julian the bully says something wrong ans auggie corrects him and julian dosent like that so he makes everyone turn against auggie. another supporting detail is at the end of the story in the book they went on a field trip and auggie and jack will have too use the bathroom so they go in the woods 4 seventh graders say that auggie is a freak and starts a fight with jack will and auggie amos and the people that turned against him helped jack will and auggie fight off the bully and then they all were friend and everyone liked auggie. another sentece is at the end august won a kindness of the year award and everyone  congratalatied him and he said 'everyone desverves a standing obation at least once in there life' and know auggie has friend and he is a happy little boy now
