Habituation is like saying "Just get used to it". As teens with a still maturing brain, we have a chance to habituate to risky situations, scenarios, and actions. The main point that the speaker is trying to make is that in teens, we can make dangerous and harmful choices in our lives. We have a habituation to risks, due to a habituation of risk behavior(s). I don't really agree, nor disagree with the speaker. I'm mostly just indifferent to the information. Some teens participate in risky behavior while others don't.

The main point the speaker is trying to make is that habituation changes teen's brain. Habituation is like getting used to, it helps one understand how the brain adapts to certain behaviors. This plays a major role when it comes to teens taking risk because their brains are still maturing and teens take a lot of risks especially because of the influence they are surrounded by. I agree with the speaker's view, she is absolutely right. Teens brain aren't fully matured and they do a lot of risk without really thinking. Teens take a lot of risks though because of what they see other teens doing online and also from what they see teens do in school especially like their friends. They see people do stuff that are risks and they think it's cool because others are doing it.

I think that the point the speaker is trying to make is that habituation can change a teenagers brain by it impacting their emotions which leads them to take more risks and which may also impact self-control and/or decision making. I agree with her point of view because teenagers don't have a fully developed brain so they become more interested with risk-taking behavior.

The main idea that the writer is trying to make is that the more exposed teenagers are to risks, the more of a chance that they're willing to take it. Habituation changes, leaving teens less likely to turn down something they said no to in the past. I agree because I feel that when you keep asking/pressuring someone they eventually give in due to peer pressure or because they are under stress and just want to get it over with.

The main point the speaker is trying to make is that although teenagers are told the risk and wrongs of taking drugs and alcohol. Teenagers still take in the drugs because of the influence society had or family members which makes them think its ok or it's good/cool. I agree with her point of view because there are many drug ads that make it seem as there is no danger to drinking alcohol or smoking because it looks fun or cool.

They just want to follow everybody else when it's really better to stand out and make a difference. The talk reassess my behaviors and choices because it was like in a way telling me I should continue being the way I am with the behaviors and choices I make. That like I should continue standing out to maybe even make a difference to other teens that they don't have to follow the crowd and take risks and even if they do take risks that they can change and stand out.
