From the trailer it really reminds me of another book series called Divergent. I love how in the beginning of the trailer it displayed it as some sort of utopia where everything is perfect, but as it goes on it shows how everything is more dystopian.  Seeing how the book could somehow switch from that is very intriguing. At the same time, I'd love to get more familiar with Lois Lowrey and her books and reminds me of the sci-fi style I like to read/watch in movies.

Set in a futuristic world, Cinder is nothing but a second class citizen. Her cruel stepmother and eldest stepsister are terrible to her; she feels as if she has only two people who truly care for her. Then comes the day in which she meets someone that changes her whole life. Her world is thrown upside down into an insane mystery.
I can relate to Cinder because from the summer of 2017 until now, my life has been chaos. I felt as if nobody cared about me, and then my own world was thrown upside down- multiple times. I’ve finally rebuilt it, but who’s to say Cinder can do the same?
