Virus are an infective agent which typically consist of an acid molecule known as nucleic. It's extremely small to even be seen through a microscope. Unlike Bacteria and fungi, Viruses are only able to multiply within the living cell of a living host e.g. humans/animals.

Viruses are microscopic parasites, generally much smaller than bacteria. They are so small that they need to be seen expertly by a microscope.They lack the capacity to thrive and reproduce outside of a host body. So therefore they can only multiply on living hosts or in a living cell.They are also know to be highly contagious.
