Afrojack is one of my favorite artist because he always creates music that makes me wanna move. I love getting up and dancing to his songs, as they always have a catchy beat. This particular song of his I really connected to because I love the message that it provides: never hide who you truly are. In the song they say "let nothing in your way", which is a great message to remind yourself of when someone or something is dragging you down. It is a song that makes me full of nothing be glee. When I hear it I can't help but smile as I am remind that I am unique, and valuable in my own way,

Beat - This song is upbeat. While listening to it, I want to clap along and dance.

Tempo - the tempo progresses throughout the song. It starts off at an largo pace, and then increases to an andantino pace as it reaches the chorus.

Meter - I think this song is in 4/4 time because it is a faster paced song.

Rhythm - illuminate's rhythm irregular. The rhythm is on the beat while Matthew Koma is signing during the bridge. But during the chorus, since he is not singing, the rhythm is off of the beat.
