Also, during their encounter with the cloud, he didn’t want to high-five him and tried to murder him with a stick when the cloud gave him a fist bump. I also think that he is anxious because he literally built a survival bunker that can last him 11 years. Talk about being prepared.. (He’s also a hermit…)

Dory has a very grand idea to keep moving in the clip though it was very dangerous to keep swiming. Dory has the type of personality that looks on the bright side of things. She ends up achieving her goal which was to find the location she was looking for. She did all of that while being positive all the way during the clip and reaching her target. Moana keeps on trying to restore the heart of Te Feti, even though Maui the demigod of the world left her because he doubted her. Dory kept on trying to find her parents, even when Hank got all grumpy and everything. Branch, Hank, and Maui are pessimistic, because when they interacted with the female characters, they were mean. Branch was trying to sleep but the Poppy started to sing to try and cheer him up. But then he threw her ukulele in the fire just to get her to be quite. Hank would always yell at Dory because she has a short-memory. Maui left Moana, because he believed that without his hook he was nothing, so he left her just to not destroy his hook from Te Ka.

His interactions with Poppy lead me to think that he is a downer, as well as rude and sarcastic. He continually makes comments about her friends, mentioning that their capture is her fault and that they’re probably dead already. He also says some choice phrases, such as mentioning that he can survive on his own for years, so surviving the villains isn’t an issue. He also throws Poppy’s guitar in the fire, leads her to believe that they’re in danger just to shut her up, and berates her for singing and acting so joyful. Instead of thinking about the worst possible income, she decided to look on the bright side of everything. One example of this is when branch was upset and poppy decided to tell him that she believed in both of them and that they can save their friends in order to help her and branch relax. Even though her friends could die and she and branch were a little lost, she looked into the positive side of life and was able to reassure herself and her friend. Poppy’s interaction towards people automatically show that she’s optimistic. She talks to Branch about saving her friends and how the world would be safe. Through this interaction, it shows that she’s optimistic about the future. She knows that she and Branch can achieve it, and she’s always positive. I placed her in the category because in the clip, she asked Branch to help. That could be a good trait because after Maui broke his hook he told Moana that he would never go back and try to put back the heart of tafiti. He thought he was nothing without his hook, and even started to yell at Moana from how mad he was that his hook broke. Maui’s interaction shows me he is discouraged because he thought without his hook he was useless and was nothing without his hook and no longer believed in himself . He thought they weren’t going to be able to put back the heart and didn’t know why he came in the first place, making him feel discouraged. This is why discouraged is a good trait for Maui in the clip.
