I chose Earth because this planet is the only planet in our solar system that has life. Just like Earth gives us everything we need to survive (oxygen, water etc.), as I teacher I try to give to my students what they need to be successful. Earth is the only planet with liquid water on its surface. Additionally, a day on Earth is 24 hours, which to me is the perfect amount of time for a day. it's one of the things that would make living on earth possible. Also Cancer is ruled by the moon. The Moon has 31 different stages. Its light illuminates from the sun. It was the place for a very famous quote: One small step for man.. One giant leap for mankind. -Neil Armstrong. The first rocket was Apollo 11. The moon is also the one helping Earth keep in orbit. It is the smallest plant in the solar system and is the closest to the sun. All though there is no evidence of life on Mercury I still think there could be. During the day Mercury can  reach up to 430 degrees Celsius and at night it can drop to -180 degrees Celsius. It also has a rocky surface which I find very nice!
