         <description><![CDATA[<div>Problem: How does a rose grow from concrete?<br>Creativity Fluency Strategy:<br>Students will take photos and videos of plant life around their neighborhood growing from the sidewalk. Students will upload these photos to a Mural. https://tinyurl.com/2p8dtbff  <br><br>Boyd (2013) mentions having teams share their ideas outside of the workshop room. Set up a <a href="https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/basics/teamwork">collaboration</a> tool where teams can enter their ideas in real-time.<br><br>This collaborative elaboration will add details and fill in the gaps for students as they begin to understand the phenomena.&nbsp;<br><br>Shively (2011) shared that it fleshes out the ideas of working collaborators, carries an idea to fruition, or adds contextual detail needed to make something real, understandable, or aesthetically pleasing.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

(2021) found that technology allows students to explore phenomena, processes, and systems while promoting students' idea development.&nbsp;<br><br>By students formulating their own ideas about a phenomenon, I am also fostering my own creative fluency and modeling the 5 I process. <br>Using technology in this way supports my growth with International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) Standards for Educators 2.6 which states that educators facilitate learning with technology to support student achievement of the ISTE Standards for Students.&nbsp;<br><br><br></div>]]></description>

This choice will lead to ownership and increased engagement. Students will have a deeper understanding of the phenomena.<br><br>Gray (2012) points out that creativity is nurtured by freedom and stifled by the continuous monitoring, evaluation, adult direction, and pressure to conform that restrict children’s lives today.<br><br>This strategy satisfies ISTE Standard for Student 1.4 which states that students use a variety of technologies within a design process to identify and solve problems by creating new, useful, or imaginative solutions.</div>]]></description>
