The Way of the World is the last play by playwright William Congreve, first performed at Lincoln's Inn Fields in London in 1700. It talks about Millamant her name means "a thousand lovers" and Mirabell his names means "admirer beauty". In order to get married and obtain all of the girl's dowry, the two lovers must obtain the blessing of their aunt, Lady Wishfort, who, unfortunately, detests Mirabell and wants her nephew Sir Wilfull to marry Millamant.
