Tim Hortons represents Canada very well since it is located basically everywhere. It is a staple image of a Canadian's favourite coffee shop and it is named after a legendary hockey player. I for one enjoy going to Tim Hortons a lot, they have good and when I first came to live here, it was the most convenient breakfast stop for my family.

In English the phrase translates to "that's life" and these many different symbols of the country I live in have become integrated into our lives as Canadians.

Although not revered as much as Hockey, Lacrosse was created by First Nations people. It was declared the national summer sport of Canada and I for one love it. Whilst living in England and not knowing that it was a Canadian sport, I loved it so much, for the way the racket turned and the swing. Although altered quite a bit, it has good roots.

All my life I have been musical. I sang in choirs, I took violin lessons for a few years and now I play the flute. Stumbling upon good music and playing good music just comes naturally to me!
