There were a few run down buildings and tents. The only plant life Stanley could see was 2 trees, where a cabin was.

Page 13 - He had to wear an orange long-sleeve jumpsuit, or an orange t-shirt. They both came with yellow socks and a hat with cloth on the back for neck protection.
Page 14 - There was nothing surrounding the camp, keeping people from camp escaping. There was hundreds of miles of desert, and the nearest water was 100 miles away.
Page 16 - Mr. Pendanski, Stanley's counselor, is introduced.
Page 18 - Squid, X-ray, Armpit, and Zigzag are introduced.
Page 20 -  Tough question: Was it a way of showing respect by him sleeping in Barf Bag's cot?
Page 22 - No one believed Stanley when he told them he stole shoes, and was completely innocent.
Page 23 - A bully at school named Derrick tortured him and no teachers took him seriously because Derrick was so small.
Page 49 - Stanley found a fish fossil in his hole
Page 52 - Tough question: If Stanley found something else that was interesting that he should give it to x-ray. Stanley is asking himself if he should.
Page 57 - Mr. Pendanski said that "Nothing in life is easy. But that's no reason to give up. You'll be surprised what you can do if you set your mind to it."
