I believe he would fit the role perfectly the reason for this is because of his role as Emmett Till in the movie Till. His role in this movie brought a movement to the people watching. Also as a younger actor he fits the role of Will even more.

Daniel Ezra I believe would be a perfect fit for the role of Shawn. The reason for this is because from his starring in All American we see he has a hardened side to him. He shows strength but still cares deep down. I believe from his All american story he can bring a lot of emotion and experience that he has from All American and put it into Long Way Down. Also in All American he is the older brother to Jalyn Hall, They already have a relationship as brothers and can bring that bond to the movie.

Anthony Mackie - Uncle Mark
