Around 2013-2014, I started to read English books in my kindergarten school. Before entering kindergarten school, I usually read Thai books at home with my parents or my neighbor's son. After I entered kindergarten school, I did not start reading English books right away because I didn't know English. Learning English at a really young age took me around three to four months to know a variety of words that would allow me to understand the book. The first few books I read would be Peppa Pig because it is a perfect series of books for bedtime stories. When I was around 3-4 years old, I loved reading books that are about animals that can talk which include Peppa Pig, The Three Little Piggies, and Curious George. At that time, I read because my school had a competition of giving snacks to kids who read most in our class and I was very determined to win that price. I spend my free time, my TV time, and even my eating time reading tons of books. When the school announced the winner, I was really excited because I won! The school would put pictures of kids who won the reading challenge all around the school. I love how teachers would walk past me and say congrats to me for winning the reading challenge. After that, I always love reading comics just to win the challenge.

The Three Little Piggies book is the first few books I have read in my early years. I read this book together with friends in my first-grade class. My first-grade teacher read this to us and we just followed along. At that time, I loved reading books about animals because I found those books funny. Most of the books where the main character is an animal would be very fantasy. My favorite character from this book would be the third pig. The third pig uses his intelligence to solve the problem and also help others which is his siblings. This book taught children to be determined and brave.

Little Red Riding Hood is a book I read around the age of five to six. The words in that book are not that complicated. I read this book for a test in my first-grade class. We are supposed to choose books that we find enjoyable and share the titles of those books with our classmates. I spent a huge amount of time reading and asking my parents which book I should choose for this assignment. My dad suggested that we should go to the bookshop and choose a book that I liked on the cover. I remember that the second I saw this book, I asked my parent to buy the book because the cover was really cute for a five-year-old me. Little Red Riding Hood is a perfect book to let young children read since there's a really good moral which is do not trust strangers.

In my elementary school years, I found people who read books as their hobby weird and crazy. I just don't get how they could spend hours and hours of their time on just a book. Every time I walked into the library during break, I would just stare at people who patiently read their books. I was forced to read a certain amount of pages in a week. I do not find any of those books entertaining. I read just because I wanted to get a good score on my grade book. I was forced to read some Thai folktale stories and summarize the whole story into two paragraphs which traumatized me until today. I felt like letting students choose their own book that they would like and constantly open the book and read it whenever they have time, will be a better way for students. At that time, I loved reading on long plane rides because that made me feel like I had something to do on boring plane rides. I love listening to music while reading because it calms me down even if the story gets more intense.

I read this book in seventh grade for EAL class. I remember this book really well because I was supposed to do a book recommendation presentation about this book. I need to know about the book really well to make a recommendation for others. While I was reading this book, I figured out that this book is actually in a series of books. This book turned out to be book two of the series which explains why some part is really confusing. This book is really important to me because reading this book makes me create a new good habit which is reading every day for at least 20 minutes. This book shows how the character feels when they are in the on-the-field situation. On-the-field situation is when you don't know what might happen next or why something happened. It teaches readers to understand how to deal with some situations.

This book is called พระพุธเข้า มหาบุรุษ in Thai. I read this book in my fourth-grade history class. We mostly learn about god, and religion in my history class. We were assigned to read this book and there's going to be a summative assessment of it. I remember this book because it taught me many things I did not know about my own religion which is Buddhism. I learned that Buddhism started in India around 2,500 years ago, and I also learned that Buddhism is one of the world's major religions. I ask my mom for help while reading this book because they use a lot of formal, and royal vocabularies.

Reading in middle school felt a lot easier to me compared to elementary school. In middle school, I usually read for fun during my free time. I know how to figure out what tastes in books I have, which will make my reading way more enjoyable. I know that I like fantasy and fiction/comic books. But lately, I started to read a new book, which is a non-fiction book, and I somehow found it fun. The book is called When Breath Becomes Air. It is a book about a medical student who receives bad news about being in stage 4 cancer. He wrote this book in 2 years, which is the same amount of time he has left. If I finish this book, I need to do another book tasting because I am enjoying a non-fiction book, and that's not something I would expect myself to do.

I am currently starting to read this book. I heard a high schooler girl review this book as their Summer reading book and she really enjoyed it. This book is a really heartbreaking book, it is about Paul's memoir. Paul is a 36-year-old nearing the end of residency as a neurosurgeon at Stanford University. His life was going great, he had a wife and his baby until one day he got diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. He uses the time he has left to write this book about how he's feeling during that two years period of time. He died after two years of fighting with stage 4 cancer. This book is going to be important to me because I also have a dream of being a medical student one day. This book teaches me to enjoy to time I have with people I love, and people who love me.
