Most people feel like their is a wide range of shops already in Farnham but they would still visit the development. They normally spent between 1-4 hours shopping per week and they said they would spent an extra 1-2 hours per week when the developement is finished.

Everyone I asked said the development will be good for Farnham and they are most likely to visit the cinema with Byron Burger second. Traffic was thought to probably still be an issue even after road improvements. All the shoppers I asked said they shop in Farnham every month and will visit Farnham more after the development. At the moment everyone I asked shops in Guildford most frequently.

Most road users according to my survey think the redevelopment of Farnham is going to increase the amount of traffic as they think it will be a very popular place with all the new shops.

Most people thought that there should be more clothing and cosmetic shops in Farnham as there aren’t many at the moment. Most of the people who took the quiz were teenagers which shows that we also need more shops aimed for teenagers. Most of the teenagers also said they shopped in Guildford most of the time which again shows Farnham needs more shops that teenagers will be interested going to.

The majority of people that answered my survey think that Farnham will become less expensive to shop in Farnham after the development. Also many people would rather visit the new shops post renovation rather than the older shops that were in Farnham before the development.

There are many people who have said that they would visit Farnham far more after this development because there will be a wider range of leisure activities and shops.

according to my survey people around Farnham would like to see park and ride introduced out side of Farnham, so the people travelling to the bright wells wont be causing large amounts of traffic.

Most people said that they wanted better places to eat and more of a variety and hoped that the new brightwells development will give them that. A lot of people had concerns over how much traffic there will be and parking in and around Farnham since there is not much parking. However whether they thought it was a good idea or not they said that they would visit it at least once a week

Most residents of Farnham believe that the redevelopment of Farnham will not effect them as they either do not go into the town much. Some of the residents of Farnham say that it will effect them because they need to get to work.
