I was afraid to swim at first. Because I couldn't swim well. Also I afraid that I got hurt. But my friends encouraged to me, so I did not afraid it , also I can swimming well.

I did not want to participate this elect. Because I was very shy. but I had a courage and I was elected to the class president. So I got an award from my teacher.

This relates to the theme because it shows that I did not want to participate to elect, but I had a courage so I was a class president and I got an award, so I could grow up more.
