What is Bullying?

 Social bullying: sometimes referred to as relational bullying, involves hurting someone’s reputation or relationships.
Social bullying includes: Leaving someone out on purpose - Spreading rumors about someone - Spreading rumors about someone - Telling other children not to be friends with someone.
 Physical bullying: involves hurting a person’s body or possessions.
Physical bullying includes: Hitting/kicking/pinching – Spitting - Tripping/pushing - Taking or breaking someone’s things
What is Cyber Bullying and how to deal with it:
Cyber bullying is bullying that happens online. It usually happens on social media websites, gaming chatrooms and anywhere online. Cyber bullying messages are mostly sent by teenagers who have easy access to ipads, laptops or phones connected to the internet.
How do you stop Cyber bullying ?
1) Block the person who is bullying you. It is hard to ignore someone who is sending hurtful messages, so it is best to block those contacts.
2) Talk to an adult you trust. Go to a parent, grandparent or teacher who you trust and can help you.
3) Save the evidence. It is useful to save the hurtful messages, images or videos as evidence that you are being bullied.
