Francis followed Jesus' values and was un-happy to see people not following them so he decided to set a mission to bring Jesus' values back. He Would be preaching most of the time and in no time he managed to get over thousands of followers. soon enough he was preaching in five per villages in a day. He would preach to them about god's values and they would always go because they knew they were gonna learn something new. St Francis became very popular that his message spread far and wide, and a lot of people were interested by what they heard.

St Francis of Assisi established the 'Franciscan'.He travelled all the way to Rome to visit the pope and he tried to convince him to accept his order, he allowed it and than his wish was granted. The pope said that he saw him somewhere because Francis was visioned in his dream. Francis was really proud of himself after traveling because he could already imagine the future and what was yet to come.

Francis gave all his money to the Church, which made his father become very angry with him. Francis then left his father’s home and took a vow of poverty, and as Francis lived his life of poverty he preached to people about the life of Jesus and people began to follow him. He had one basic rule ‘to follow the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ and to walk in his footsteps.’

When Francis was 19 years old, he joined the army and went to battle against the nearby town of Perguia. Francis was captured and taken prisoner. He was held prisoner for a year before his father paid the ransom and he was set free. During this time and his experiences he discovered that people were not as fortunate as him and that he should follow in Jesus’ footprints and help this win need. Over the next few years Francis began to see visions from God that changed his life. The first vision that saint Francis had was when he was sick with a high fever. Francis heard God tell him to ‘repair my church, which is falling in ruins.’

Francis was spoiled in his youth years, he pampered himself with fine food, wine, and wild celebrations. By the time he was 14, he had left school and was known as a rebellious teenager who was always drinking, partying and would always break the city curfew. With his privileged surroundings, Francis of Assisi learned archery, wrestling and horsemanship. He was always told he was to follow into the family textile business but was bored with the idea of living in the cloth trade, so he soon began daydreaming of a future as a knight. He dreamed about being a knight and being a hero just like al the others and it wouldn't be long before he fulfilled his dreams.
