Cheap supplements can create false confidence, giving the impression of value while quietly reducing expected benefits through diluted actives, inconsistent formulation behaviour, or heavy stabiliser dependence. Temperature, humidity, and oxygen exposure all influence ingredient stability. This degradation may not show visible changes in colour or smell, so the user continues taking the supplement unaware that the real potency has quietly decreased.
