         <description><![CDATA[<div>The GHS Index is a research assessment tool that measures countries' abilities in disease outbreak prevention, detection, and response.<br><br></div><ul><li>It enables countries to see weaknesses in their health security systems so that improvements could be made.</li></ul><div><br></div><ul><li>  It assesses countries across 6 categories, 34 indicators, and 140 questions utilizing data from various global organizations, such as the World Health Organization, the World Organization for Animal Health, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, and the World Bank.</li></ul><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li>      Study results showed that 195 countries were not effectively prepared in the event of an epidemic or pandemic</li><li>·       In terms of naturally occurring, accidental, or man-caused infectious disease outbreak preparedness, most of the 195 countries were not fully prepared in their prevention, early detection, and effective response plans.<br><br></li><li>      The 2019 GHS Index demonstrated an overall score of 40 out of 100. Even the highest income countries had an average score of 51.9 preparedness. </li></ul><div><br></div><div><br></div>]]></description>
