My opinion due to the topic, the robotics have advantages and disadvantages. But in term of future robotics is more on disadvantages than advantages the reason is because, if the robotics increase, unemployment also increase the effect of labor force on the robotics is taken over. The development of country may happen based on productivity of robotics producing products. Therefore, from the view of economic, the employment may increase that causes inflation to exist. For individuals, inflation will reduce their true income. This situation is serious if the rate of inflation or inflation rate is much higher than the rate of increase in individual money income.

Teo- In my opinion, reliance on robotics is good in a way they have higher productivity giving products with almost similar quality, but it will increase economical gap in the society ir among developed and underdeveloped countries. However, this can encourage people with lower education level to be competitive and upgrade themselves.

Some countries may have good financial that make them able to implement artificial intelligence or robot automation technologies in their lives. But this is not applicable to all the countries in the world. From my point of view, the reliance towards the robots in our lives are divided into both positive and negative impacts. But i will discuss more towards the negative impacts as i disagree with the matter. Based on the article, it was estimated that the robot automation will replace 800 millions jobs in 2030. That would be 10-20% population of the world. Poverty and famine will increase. This will make humans to have difficulties in living and it will make lives of the others become hard. So the reliance on robot automation is not a good thing.

Despite economical factor, I still think that reliance on robotics can be a good thing for a country itself, as long as it is not overdone. For instance, when a product is highly on demand, humans with physical limitations can only rely on robotics to produce sufficient amount of products to fulfil the needs of society. With that, they can get busy with some other work that has to be done manually instead of being stuck with something robotics can help complete. This can save so much time. However, economy is the major variable on whether a country has the opportunity to afford robotics, just like what Saufi has stated previously.

In February, a South Korean woman was sleeping on the floor when her robot's vacuum consumed her hair, forcing her to summon an emergency aid. It may not be an undesirable future that Stephen Hawking warned us about - where the smart device "surprised the end of the human" - but it highlighted one of the unwanted dangers to invite robots to our homes. My recommendation of all countries must have robotic standards. because there are countries using robotics more in the military field, for example, North Korea, creating a variety of high-tech weapons continuously.

Seeing this I'm starting to agree with your point of view, all robots can indeed help us lower our daily burden but we cannot predict any injuries that may happen. Increase of reliance on robots can make humans to get lazier as well, and who knows one day robots can really wake up to their own intelligence and take over humans, like how it is played in the movies?

In my opinion robotics have more disadvantage than advantage, robots cost much money in maintance and repair. The program need to be updated to suit the changing requirements, the machines need to be smarter, in case the of breakdown, the cost of repair may be very high, the procedures to restore lost code or data may be time-consuming & costly.

For this case, I think that for high productivity robots, their production costs can overcome the maintenance cost. It might be a burden for low income countries, but most of the case, robots only breakdown after certain time of functioning.

In addition, one day robots might take over human jobs. Hence, it can lead to severe unemployment. For example in many factories and car or other manufacturing plants, human labour is no longer required because of robots. In conjunction with that, we all know robots have no sense of emotions or conscience. So the lack of empathy is one of the major disadvantage of having an emotionless workplace.

After all I think reliance on robotics is inevitable for country development. Increased population is resulting in higher demand of products, it is impossible humans can produce sufficient products without any help from robotics. However, it is important that all of the robotics are relied on moderately before something undesirable happens to humans ourselves.

One of weakness of robotics are consider the feelings of the other person. If an interactive voice response (IVR) program (a phone tree) could consider and interpret the feelings of customers on the other end of the phone, the robot might malfunction in shock. Many people have thrown their phone on the ground, tired of an IVR that doesn't understand what they (the customer) are requesting. Or the IVR doesn't offer what the customer requests. Customer service can be a messy business because you are dealing with human emotions. There's a gray area. As customer frustration and anger goes up, a human being should be able to gauge that, sincerely apologize and offer some kind of appropriate service recovery. Service recovery means I will give you X for your inconvenience. Robots cannot consider feelings - genuinely, like a person can.
