Researchers: Roma Patel, Elly Crow, Victoria Conman, Hiamnshu Balani
Writer: Elly Crow
Presenter: Victoria Conman

3. Facebook was founded on February 4, 2004 by Mark Zuckerberg, Chris Hughes, Andrew McCollum, Eduardo Saverin, and Dustin Moskovitz.
4. There are 2.85 billion monthly active users worldwide on facebook.
5. The Revenue for Facebook was roughly 86 billion US dollars in 2020.
6. Facebook is great for business start ups because of how many users it has. With 2.85 billion daily users it is a good platform to use to get high visibility on your page. It also has great messaging services which can be used for group chats for different fitness programs like BeachBody. Facebook is also a very effective platform to use for digital marketing because of the high visibility on ads and that the ads are tailored to personal accounts. Therefore people who search about fitness and wellness will see ads for pages on these topics.
7. Although Facebook can be a very useful platform, there are also downsides to the site. Firstly, there have been many data breaches which means that users information has been leaked. Moreover, Users information which is considered private has been sold for revenue. This is why when you go on facebook you see ads for things that you have been searching for. Lastly, as with many other forms of social media, there have been many cases of cyberbullying.
8. Facebook is being used by many users to successfully promote fitness and wellness. One example of this is community pages. There is a community page on Facebook called Better Bodies which is a clothing brand. On this page they use the platform for progress photos and for members to post about fitness and health in their own lives which can help motivate other members. Another example is The Grey Lady's Health and Wellness blog. This blog helps to promote making sure fitness is apart of our daily lives. Facebook can also be used for group chats. There is a community of ladies that are doing a fitness program called beachbody. These programs set you up with a coach and through facebook groups the coach keeps you accountable and motivates you to complete your fitness goals while checking in on your progress as well.

Pinterest's drawbacks are being not a video based platform, Aimless design to make it hard to find specific stuff, If you have a brand its hard to promote yourself. Ways that we can promote health promotion and fitness are , finding recipes for meals we can eat, Finding motivational quotes to give you the inspiration you needed and lastly you can find quick little workout areas if you don't have the space for it in your home
