A- Water on Earth's surface is distributed unevenly. Ninety-seven percent of water is saltwater that mostly resides in the ocean, while three percent of the Earth's water is freshwater. This unbalance is to blame for the uneven distribution.

E- To completely understand this uneven distribution of water you would have to look at a rainfall distribution map. Out of the three percent of freshwater located on Earth, only one percent is accessible by humans. Most of the freshwater is located underground and cannot be reached by humans because of this humans have had to find alternate ways to obtain freshwater.

Answer - Due to the randomness of where water lands, water is distributed unevenly upon Earth's surface. Most of this water becomes saltwater as it falls into the sea while the rest that falls elsewhere is in the minority as freshwater.

Explanation - Since the sea takes up the majority of the earth, it makes sense that most of the water in the hydrosphere is saltwater with it being 97% of said water. On the other hand, freshwater is split into many sections and categories, which can truly be seen in the graph. Ice caps, glaciers, and groundwater take up 98.8% of the world's fresh water, with the 0.3% leftover being fresh surface water. Even then, this surface water as well is split into lakes, swamps, and rivers, with lakes taking the majority of this space with an 87 percentile of storage.
Summary - All in all, the sea takes most of the earth's water for itself, while leaving land with a little bit of freshwater.

C-The white areas on the map below had annual rainfall under 400 mm for the last year, which makes them semi-arid or arid. since the ocean and sea has the most water but it isn't fresh but  surface water only 1% at that is fresh.
E-projections are for significant aridification to occur in many dry regions and for more severe rainfall events to characterize wet regions.
