Four years of killing and destruction before it officially ended with Germany signed the Treaty of Versailles.

The League of Nation took control of Germany's colonies.

They ca n only have 6 naval ships and the German army was reduced to 100 000 men.
The Rhineland area was to be kept free of German military personnel and weapons.

Germany lost vital industrial territory, it had to pay big debts to other country for causing the war and it was not allowed to unite with Austria to improve it's situation.
The amount of 6600 million pounds was set later.
