How are photosynthesis and cellular respiration related to one another in the biosphere?
Photosynthesis and cellular respiration needs one another in order to function such as; photosynthesis requires carbon dioxide and releases oxygen which cellular respiration requires oxygen and releases carbon dioxide

What role does photosynthesis play in altering Earth's atmosphere?
Photosynthesis plays a huge role in altering Earth's atmosphere because it creates oxygen that makes up nearly 21% of the atmosphere.

If cells can produce chemical energy in an anaerobic environment, why do we need oxygen?
We need oxygen regardless, because it provides energy to the body freely AND if the environment wasn't anaerobic we wouldn't have any source of energy, or even life. Oxygen also gives energy to cells do they can make ATP.

How is energy transformed and matter utilized by living things?
Energy is transformed by living things because it states in the Law of Conservation of Energy, that energy can neither be created nor destroyed, but changed into a different form that proves energy is being transformed. Matter is utilized by living things because it states in the Law of Conservation of Matter that mater is either created nor destroyed in an isolated system, that shows matter is being utilized.

What role do photosynthesis and cellular respiration play in the recycling of carbon?
When cellular respiration releases carbon dioxide into the environment, photosynthesis takes carbon dioxide out of the air and breaks it up for another purpose.
