STEP 1: Identify Your Problem

POP: A problem of practice is a dilemma that you face in your work that you cannot easily resolve. A problem of practice is an area that focuses on the instructional core, is directly observable, is actionable, and connects to a broader strategy of improvement.

>Write Something: Explain your problem of practice, providing as much detail is relevant (grade level, class period, content, assignment/unit, student behavior, student outcomes, intended goals, obstacles, etc.)

STEP 2: Brainstorm
> Add Comment: Reply to every posts in two ways (in the following order):
1. Ask probing questions (as many as you can). These questions should be in-depth, and should help the teacher to think differently about their dilemma. Consultants should avoid making suggestions at this stage.

2. Make suggestions. After review all probing questions, make suggestions you believe may help aid the problem/dilemma. Provide resources, or shared experiences to support your suggestions.

STEP 3: Solidify
