I preferred writing in third person omniscient, I found it more engaging to share the perspectives and thoughts of both characters. Sharing both characters thoughts also allowed me to better shape the context of the text.

I found the first version/persepective of my story more engaging because a tone of voice is adapted and adds to my character's demeanour. This tone of voice, I believe, is easily identifiable for readers and also is entertaining to imagine.
