My tutor has been giving me ideas on what books there were in stock for the class to read, and this is what we found. While thinking of a novel to read, and while reading excerpts from these novels to gain the main idea of what is happening in that novel, we stumbled across a book called " The Odyssey". What we thought was a random book turnedi into a unique story, one fitting for an honors level class. The Odyssey is a highly recommended book for the class to read, as it gives a foundational work of Western literature, featuring a thrilling adventure story with timeless themes of loyalty and homecoming. The narrative is primarily considered to be exciting and accessible, with a unique structure that makes it feel like a classic adventure tale filled with monstrous humanoids and godlike beings, with a culturally significant work that offers insight into Ancient Greek values, mythology, and the development of storytelling.
