I believe in protecting the wildlife, but to spend $2 billion to protect the wildlife is unnecessary considering that the impact on wildlife will be moderate after extensive study. $2 billion is a large sum of money that could be used for engineering new items that could potentially save human or animal life. Plus, the Cross Island MRT is underground which would minimally affect the amount of space the animals have on the ground and thus, not affect their daily lives.
