Sometimes getting one type of cancer can lead to more cancers. Lymphoma is a cancer that starts in cells that are part of the body's immune system, but it can spread to other organs. Age can also make a person more likely to get a type of cancer. Colorectal cancer is a cancer that is usually found in adults over 50.  It starts in the colon or the rectum.

But you have to be careful as to which treatments you choose because some treatments could be harmful. Cancer is treated with surgery, chemotherapy, or radiation. It can also be treated with a combination of these treatments. And 3 out of every 5 people with cancer will have an operation to remove the cancer. Sadly if the tumor is fast growing and invading tissue, you might need radiation.

These side effects can change your life dramatically in ways such as death or other severe health problems. Cells may start to grow and multiply too much and form a lump called a tumor. Also, cancer cells build up in the blood and sometimes the bone marrow. Cancer cells grow and divide faster than most normal cells.
