My brother and I were in the same class, and it was hard to make friends because I was new and shy. I had courage and started making new friends, that helped me to transition into making friends faster. I also started talking more to other people, so that also helped me make friends faster, as I had been really shy in the beginning.

This relates to the theme because I had to have courage to meet new people, and make friends in a new place. I also had new teachers, who were a lot different from my other ones. It was hard to meet new people, as my friend was placed in a different level than I was. I had to have courage and persevere to get better at dancing with new people, and in front of people I didn’t really know.
