There are multiple definitions, from person to school. Must assess needs and how do we make something equitable. Equity in restorative justice and schools. Starts with schools and cultures. Leadership...”elevate” language-we must deeply analyze-to be practical there must be a deep dive into the definition to get to outcome

Data is a reality check! Showing people the data is powerful. It’s essential for participants to see the state of things to be intune with the PL and build their capacity and their buy in.

We need to make sure that our goals are equitable and aligned with the Chancellor’s priority goals. We also need to make sure that our teams cohesive, share a unified message and that our PL opportunities are tailored to the needs of all marginalized groups.

The core business of schools is instructional leadership but we have to be able to also provide supports that may not be instructional. All functional areas provide supports that are needed.
