We arrived in Lyon yesterday☀️ We met with the teachers and got a tour of the school. Then, everyone reunited with their buddies, we shared a goûter (snack time) all together. After that, everyone went home with their host family!

Pingry and Chartreux students went all together to a laser tag yesterday evening. They were happy about it this morning! We all met in the school courtyard at 7:45am. Then, students went to class. They observed French classes this morning (math, economics, french etc). After that, we said goodbye and they left for the long weekend with their host families! Au programme : Paris, Côte d'Azur, Annecy, Chamonix, etc. We look forward to hearing about their experiences and discoveries when they return!

Le tilleul de Pérouges

This tree was planted in the town square during the French Revolution. The flowers of this tree are often brewed to make tea. Fun fact, Tilleul tea together with the famous madeleine prompted Marcel Proust’s cascade of memories in “à la recherche du temps perdu”
