Today is my first day doing a SIEP at DWI DAYA ENTERPRISE. DWI DAYA ENTERPRISE is a company that runs a food and beverage business. This company provides food and beverage for breakfast and lunch only. The company only runs their business from 8.00 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday is their public holiday. So today I have come at DWI DAYA ENTERPRISE at 8.00 a.m. It's taken 30 minutes from my house to go there. So for my first day work at there, I was introduced to the workers there. I'm also given exposure about the menus provided there. Among the menu available are ‘Nasi Lemak’, ‘Mee Goreng’ and also ‘Nasi Goreng’ for breakfast. While the lunch menu is ‘Nasi Putih’, ‘Fried Chicken’, ‘Fried Quail’, ‘Cencaru Bakar’, ‘Ikan Singang’ and ‘Ulam-Ulaman’. While the special menu at DWI DAYA ENTERPRISE is ‘Gulai Ikan Baung Masak Tempoyak’. This special menu is one of the charms that attract many customers to come to DWI ENTERPRISE. I was also advised to always smile while working there. Upon completion of the lighting I was directed to help the workers there to provide the menu to be served there. During 6p.m. I was allowed to go home.

Today is my second day doing a SIEP at DWI DAYA ENTERPRISE. Today, I arrived at DWI DAYA ENTERPRISE as usual at 8 a.m. So today I was directed to work in the washing and cleaning section of the dishes, cooking and business areas. So, for this part I and another employee are given the task to be responsible for handling wash and cleaning parts. This is because this part requires two people. This section is also a part that requires a strong workforce. This is because this part is responsible for clearing the store area before starting a business. This section is also responsible for cleaning the cooking equipment used to prepare the menu on the day and also cleaning plates and cups used by customers. After cleaning all cooking utensils and shop areas, this section is tasked with removing food waste and garbage at the garbage disposal site. I am allowed to go home to rest after work finishes at 6 p.m.

Today is my third day doing a SIEP at DWI DAYA ENTERPRISE. Today I was directed to learn how to prepare Chicken Rice. In the process of learning how to prepare Chicken Rice, I was assisted by a worker there named Kak Nur. Kak Nur is an employee who manages the poultry preparation division there. She has been managing this section for 4 years. I was directed to cut cucumbers, tomatoes, soup leaves, leeks and salad. After finishing the cutting process, I was directed to take Chicken in the kitchen area and taken to the preparation section of Chicken Rice. After completing all the ingredients needed to prepare Chicken Rice, I was taught how to serve Chicken Rice to customers.

Today is my fourth day doing a SIEP at DWI DAYA ENTERPRISE. Today I am still assigned to manage the portion of Chicken Rice. Today I was given the trust to manage the preparation of this Chicken Rice without any help from the workers there. This is to ensure that I am well versed in the process of preparing this Chicken Rice. While in the process of managing the preparation of Chicken Rice, I also acquired new knowledge about the most popular chicken part of the customer. Among the favorite parts of the customer are drumstick, thighs and chicken wings. Therefore, I told the manager to extend those parts while buying raw goods for the preparation of Chicken Rice. After two days of doing work on the preparation section of this Chicken Rice. I have learned how to make Chicken Rice. The skills that I get from here can be used when cooking at home.

Today is my fifth day doing a SIEP and DWI DAYA ENTERPRISE. Today I was directed by the manager to manage the provision of beverages to customers. The beverage preparation section for this client requires only one employee. However, since I was a new employee there and did not have the good skills to make a drink for the customer, I was in the help of a long-time employee of the beverage preparation department. I monitored and taught ways to provide a drink to the customer correctly. In addition, I was also given an early exposure on how to use the juice-making machine. This is for me to be able to use the machine in the preparation of the right drink. Today is my sixth day doing a SIEP at DWI DAYA ENTERPRISE. Today I am still assigned to arrange the Beverage preparation section to customers. However, today I am no longer assisted by skilled workers here. This is because I have been fully taught the techniques to provide various types of drinks here. Based on my experience of two days of managing the beverage preparation section to customers, this part is one of the parts that used a lot of energy. This is because the employee who manages this section has to stand up while preparing a drink for the customer and this part is also the busiest part. Among the values ​​that I get from the beverage preparation section is that I acquire a lot of new skills such as using juicing machines as well as ways to make drinks that meet customer tastes.

Today is my seventh day doing a SIEP at DWI DAYA ENTERPRISE. Today I was directed by the manager to manage the section that provides lunch menu. This section is responsible for preparing midday dishes such as white rice and local dishes. Among the local dishes are ‘Ikan Baung Masak Tempoyak’, ‘Mackerel curry’, ‘Fried chicken’, ‘Fried quail’ and also ‘Ikan Singgang’. The division also needs to prepare the ‘Ulam-Ulaman’ and also 'Budu' to the customers. While managing this part I have to monitor every time the quantity of the dish served to ensure that the dishes served are sufficient for the customers. If the dish is reduced, I'll go to the kitchen side to add a new dish. As well as other dishes, ‘Ulam-ulaman’ also need to be added all the time if reduced.

Today is my eighth day doing a SIEP and DWI DAYA ENTERPRISE. Today I was assigned a new section of the section to prepare ‘Rojak’. The manager instructed me to learn how to set up ‘Rojak’ correctly. This is because the menu of this ‘Rojak’ is one of the menus that get a welcome response from customers. Within a day ‘Rojak’ can be sold until it reaches seventy plates. Therefore, in order to manage this division two persons are required. While preparing the ‘Rojak’, I was also assisted by a well-trained worker to make a ‘Rojak’. ‘Rojak’ provided here is ‘Rojak ayam’. However, to get the skill of providing ‘Rojak’ this does not take long. This is because it is easy to be prepared if made in the right way.

Today is my ninth day doing a SIEP at DWI DAYA ENTERPRISE. Today is also the second last day I work here. So because this is my second last day, the manager just gave me a light duty just to do it. Today I was just assigned to a waiter. I am solely responsible for taking orders from customers and also responsible for clearing the tables used by customers. This assignment is not too heavy for me because it does not use so much energy. My assignment is complete after hour’s show time at 6 p.m.

Today is my last day doing a SIEP at DWI DAYA ENTERPRISE. Today I arrive at the DWI DAYA ENTERPRISE as usual at 8a.m. Today the manager tells me to only help the worker at there. So, today I'm just helping to send orders made by customers. So my task today is just lightweight because it does not use much energy. Upon completion of work, I submit the assessment form to the manager for evaluation and get signed from him. Before I go back, the manager gives me some payment for me as a reward.
