One thing that we learned is you need to make sure that you are integrating both content areas equally. Another thing that we learned are ideas on how to integrate science and social studies together. A third thing that we learned is how to give students options when coming up with a poem to write and letting them pick their own topic so that they are having fun with the lesson. One thing that we will take with us to our future classroom is how important it is to integrate other content areas with science.

One thing I learned was that you can integrate specials into your instruction. When I think of Interdisciplinary Instruction, I always think of doing this with core classroom subjects, but I like the idea of doing this with P.E., art, etc. because it's something that many students really love but it's often overlooked. I really enjoyed the Language Arts/Science activity we did and it's definitely an idea I will take with me to my future classroom.

One thing I learned is that interdisciplinary instruction can be very beneficial for not only science, but other subjects as well. It's a great way to teach a idea by using multiple subjects. When interdisciplinary instruction is used, the multiple intelligence's of the students are taken into account. One thing that I will take away from this is that in my future classroom, integration will be used on numerous accounts.
-Megan Falls
