Birmingham Campaign (1963)

This was led by SCLC's Martin Luther King Jr. It was a peaceful effort to promote desegregation through marches and boycotts. This exposed a level of resistance with the segregationists, especially with police officer, Bull Connor, who would use police dogs and fire hoses against the protestors and activists.
