The Taiga is a biome that can be found in Siberia, Canada, Alaska, and The Northern most parts of North America. The map shows where you can find the Taiga biome, which is colored in Dark Green. The main predator of the biome, The Siberian tiger is a native species that is the largest big cat in the world, and is also a endangered species. A prey of the Tiger is the moose, which is a herbivore and can be found in the U.S., mainly being the border states to canada. Amazingly, there are only 2 species of snakes that live in the taiga, and the 2 are the red garter snake and the European adder, which both are to hibernate during the winter. Since a taiga is found in such areas, being Canada, Siberia, Alaska, and North America, the summer days have a average of 64 degrees, and a average winter day is -4 degrees. The main threats to the Taiga is hunting, civilization, and the lumber industry in canada. Tigers are becoming endangered through hunting.
