Owen is a flat character because we only know a few things about him like he was deformed and he would put tape on his shirt. Owen only has a few character traits. One of those character traits is Owen being joyful. Owen would always try to be happy and keep people happy. One example is on the thanks giving chapter Owen was playing chess with skyla but he kept letting her win because he didn't want her to be sad. The other charater trait is Owens smartness.
