Good morning Christy! I enjoyed reading your article The Major Leadership Theories. I found the article to be really informative and educational. Even though leadership dates back centuries, man has experimented with numerous theories though out history to define and describe what qualities and characteristic’s a good leader must have to be successful. Your article discussed many aspects of leadership. I had to stop and think how some of the theories influence leaders. I especially liked the interactive leadership test that was included within the article. I took the test to find out what leadership style fit my personality. With that being said, one question stood out above all others. If particular traits are key features of leadership, then how do we explain people who possess those qualities but are not leaders? I believe personality traits are one of the key aspects of leadership; however, I also wonder why many people are not motivated enough to act upon their own beliefs and values? Thank you for sharing this article. I look forward to working with you throughout the course.

Sandra
