Analysis: The entirety of his time away from home, the boy is imagining getting closer and closer to people. Analysis: He is much closer to the emperor now, and is just trying to see him. Analysis: Just like the emperor, the boy dreams of many different ways to see. This time, instead of being held back, he sees and speaks to his father. Perhaps he is seeing God: His father. He does a similar thing while dreaming of his father, but instead, his father is coming back home to him. He thinks that he could come back on a horse, a bike, or something else.
