Research skills is more explicitly taught. We can use the everyday words that children understand. It underpins everything we do but isn't necessarily documented It sometimes is used in our learning journeys but this is something we could add more into. We have started to add it into the documentation for parents however is not always with the students. As students don't read everything we do has to be verbal. 
Children don't independently use the language unless they have latched on to a word. They don't always have an understanding of the word.
