         <description><![CDATA[<div>Social sills and self management comes every day naturally. Research skills is more explicitly taught. We can use the everyday words that children understand. It underpins everything we do but isn't necessarily documented It sometimes is used in our learning journeys but this is something we could add more into.  Students will use the language for the time we use it ie in that unit but it doesn't always continue past that set time.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>ATL's have been identified on Managebac planners but we need to have more of an explicit focus on  using and reflecting on them throughout all units. There also needs to be a transdiciplinary focus where a common language is used across all areas of the curriculum. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In the early years ATL's appear in most areas of learning. We have started to add it into the documentation for parents however is not always with the students. As students don't read everything we do has to be verbal.&nbsp;<br> Children don't independently use the language unless they have latched on to a word. They don't always have an understanding of the word. <br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Really hard with the little ones Grade 1 do try. Some units do lend themselves more to Explicit ATL's is research skills. Kids always seem to go to the top part of a rubric it is hard for them to properly asses themselves and they are proud of whatever they do.</div>]]></description>
