How students inform the direction of our units. Providing time for them to articulate their interests and wonders. We also connected with the mention of 'the need for resources' in our classrooms and schools.

What are you challenged by:
One of the challenges we discussed was ensuring that all students voices/choices are being heard. We spoke about the quiet of passive child, and what strategies we might use to encourage them to share their interests etc.

What extends your thinking:
We spoke about the collaboration process and how it typically happens before the unit begins. Challenge - Difficult to integrate POIs and Agency - open units with general Central Ideas may help with this. Timetabling with Single Subject teachers can also be difficult.
