         <description><![CDATA[<div>What do you connect with:&nbsp;<br>How students inform the direction of our units. Providing time for them to articulate their interests and wonders. We also connected with the mention of 'the need for resources' in our classrooms and schools.<br><br>What are you challenged by:<br>One of the challenges we discussed was ensuring that all students voices/choices are being heard. We spoke about the quiet of passive child, and what strategies we might use to encourage them to share their interests etc.<br><br>What extends your thinking:<br>We spoke about the collaboration process and how it typically happens before the unit begins.  Perhaps rethinking this model and having a space two weeks in, where we revisit the planning based on student voice etc.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Connect</strong> - Articles made us think about agency in our own classrooms in current / previous units, such as a story unit where students have had choice to explore and inquire in the way they would like to.<br><br><strong>Challenge</strong> - Difficult to integrate POIs and Agency - open units with general Central Ideas may help with this. Timetabling with Single Subject teachers can also be difficult.<br><br><strong>Extend </strong>- 'Perfect EY School' - fluid timetabling and responsive teaching between and within classes. Potentially centres set up in HR classes with single subject teachers - Could get crowded.</div>]]></description>
