Each grade level has meetings at least once per trimester to discuss things that are working well and not working well. We also have yearly meetings between elementary and middle schools, and middle and high schools. Our school also shares resources that we come across with each other in our grade level or content area through a share schoology group. I find there healthy relationship at my grade level. There seems to be more formal collaboration in the beginning of the year. However, each year the district has a "Big Dog Challenge" that generates staff ideas and the top voted ideas go through a design review process. This is a specific project that brings a fun piece of collaboration amongst the entire district. Being relatively new, I do not exactly know if there is a formal plan, however, as organized and structured PD days are, I would assume there is a formal plan. I believe the plan is a living document that changes from year-to-year. Unfortunately, this only happens once a year and we don’t continue the conversations throughout the year.
